Integrative Counselling Training

Our Next Stage of Training

We are currently developing our Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, which will form the next step in our training pathway at Cedars Therapy Institute.

This course will follow an integrative approach, building on the foundations developed at Levels 2 and 3.

What Will This Course Focus On?

The Level 4 Diploma will support learners to:

  • begin working with clients in a counselling setting

  • develop a deeper understanding of counselling theory

  • integrate different theoretical approaches into practice

  • work ethically and professionally as a trainee counsellor

Our integrative model will include:

  • Person-centred principles as the foundation

  • Integration of approaches:

    • Psychodynamic

    • CBT

    • Systemic

What Is Integrative Counselling?

Integrative counselling brings together different approaches in a thoughtful and structured way, allowing the practitioner to respond flexibly to the needs of each individual.
